Synchrona Themata

Synchrona Themata (Contemporary Issues) is a quarterly journal that has been published in Athens since 1962. The journal’s main area of focus is the social sciences and specifically the cross-fertilization of theory, events, and, when possible, policy proposals. Synchrona Themata has a distinguished history and is run on a pro bono basis by academics of exceptional quality and international stature. The thematic emphasis of the journal centers around the understanding and interpretation of social phenomena and focuses on major social, cultural, and educational issues.

For the period 2008-2015 and 2022-2023 we provided financial support to enable the editorial staff of the journal to pay for the translation of articles from English, French, and German into Greek, particularly as they related to medical, health care, and educational topics.
