We provide scholarships to qualified graduate students pursuing a Ph.D. degree in the biomedical sciences in an academic institution in Greece or Cyprus. Each scholarship is at the level of €6,000 per year with the possibility of three additional annual renewals based on satisfactory progress for a total support of €24,000 over four years. Applications are evaluated by our international Scientific Advisory Board, composed of senior scientists, on the basis of scientific merit, feasibility, and need.
The Fondation Santé Board of Directors have named our graduate student scholarship program “The Sidney Altman Scholarship Program” in honor of our late friend and member of the Scientific Advisory Board, Sidney Altman. Students who receive a scholarship will be called Sidney Altman Scholars.
